SheepDawgs Review & Giveaway ($100 value!)

How cute are these? I recently received a pair of 13 inch Flat Cow Suede Sheep Dawgs (color - Natural) to review and let me tell you, I am SO glad I finally gave in and tried these! I've seen similar styles when I've gone shoe shopping (which by the way, is pure torture for someone with a tiny, awkward-shaped foot like mine) and I would try them on but felt like I looked ridiculous or they were extremely uncomfortable. I have thicker calves too so many pair were tight since they're apparently made for stick-legged people.

As soon as pulled these out of the box, I had to try them on. We were actually on our way out the door to the grocery store but I'm so impatient that I had to stop everyone because I couldn't wait until we got back home. I was a little nervous that they wouldn't fit or make me look like I was trying to pull off the style of a teenager. I was so excited that I didn't realize there was paper in the toe so I felt my face fall when I stuck my foot in and it didn't fit - the kids and fiance started laughing when I pulled my foot out then discovered that paper was in there. So on the second try, I pulled them on and immediately felt like my feet were in heaven - no kidding! The insides of the boot are lined so they are warm and soft and the soles are cushioned and supportive - they pretty much cradle the feet! 

These are great boots for those who live in an area where it's chilly in the winter but don't experience a lot of snow. Around Lynchburg, the weather changes by the hour. Last year, we experienced a larger snowfall than we had seen in decades; however, this year, we've only had one or two dustings.

I wore these boots to work with my jeans for our 'casual Friday' - I never once had to kick them off (like I typically do with my dress shoes). They were so comfy that I almost forgot I was even wearing shoes! I work in an office with several other women of various ages and all of them were getting the information about where I got my boots - one even ordered a pair that evening! 

As their slogan states, these boots really are a foot's best friend! I will be buying a pair of the Mary Jane Pros for work, a pair of the sandals for this summer and even looking at some for the kiddos!
