So you're probably here to learn a little more about the mom behind the blog...I'm a 28-year-old mom who works for the State of Tennessee full-time all while raising two boys and a fiance. I've been married and divorced and headed back down the aisle again in the Fall of 2013.
I started LCM originally to share my savings tips & tricks with others and throw in some personal posts every now and again. Now, it has taken a mind of its own and I'm not sure exactly where it's headed but I'm along for the ride. Tons of 'coupon bloggers' have come out of the woodwork in the past couple of years but I hope to veer off into my own little niche where I have little competition :)
I live in the little bitty town of Lynchburg, TN and wouldn't have it any other way. I enjoy the slow-moving lifestyle and would probably die from an anxiety/panic attack if I had to live in a large city - that's just not my cup of tea.
I was diagnosed with R.A. (Rheumatoid Arthritis) in February 2013. It has it's rough days as do other diseases but it's something I am going to fight my entire life so I try to make the best out of my good days.

My Whole World...
If I could define a soul mate, Patrick's picture would be right there when you opened the dictionary. He's been a true blessing in my life since October 4th, 2006 and we are planning on making everything official in the Fall of 2013. When other women complain that their man doesn't do the "little" things, I get to smile because I am treated to those things. He's not afraid to wash dishes or laundry and loves spending quality time together as a family. Although he's not biologically my boys' father, he is their father in every other possible manner. After spending 11 years in the U.S. Navy, Patrick now works for a polystyrene/polypropylene manufacturing company and loves his job. He always keeps me on my toes with his charming wit (some people call it sarcastic or smart ass....but no matter what you call it, I love it!) - in fact, I tell him constantly that he would make a good used car salesman with all that charm and wit :)
Our oldest, Isaiah, is 8 years old and is a sweet boy who wears his heart on his sleeve. He would live outside if we'd leave a tent for him in the backyard and is by every definition of the word, a 'country boy'. He loves everything science-related, especially the weather, and tells us that he is going to be a tornado chaser when he grows up. He's an avid WSMV - Channel 4 News watcher and loves Duck Dynasty. He'd choose NatGeo, Discovery or the History Channels over a cartoon any day. Star Wars is also a favorite. He loves baseball and is extremely competitive. His family means everything to him and although he loves to pick on his little brother quite often, he is the first to jump in and defend him to the end.
"Aidan"
Our youngest, Aidan, is 6 years old, and he keeps us on our toes every second of every day! He loves to aggravate his big brother but is ready to defend him the moment someone messes with him. He's the type of kid who you can tell 'no' to and then he will smile as he proceeds to do exactly what you told him not to do right before your eyes. He's quick-witted and never misses a beat! Although he's not a 'country boy' like his brother, he tells us that he's never leaving our quaint little town and wants to be the Sheriff someday. He loves Superheroes (mostly Batman) and builds the most amazing creations with Legos - seriously, they're awesome. He tells it like it is and doesn't care if you like it or not. He loves everyone but likes no one - you'd have to know him to understand that.
